This article will walk you through the steps needed to reset your license activations in the iLok License Manager.
If you lose access to the computer that you've activated your licenses on via Machine ID, you can request a license activation reset through the iLok License Manager.
Important Note: This process is irreversible. Only report your machine as unusable if you no longer have access to the computer your licenses were activated onto.
Please ensure you've installed the latest version of the iLok License Manager, then follow the steps below:
- Log In to the iLok License Manager using your iLok Account details
- Navigate to the Locations column on the left side of the application window
- Right-Click on the affected machine, then select Report as Unusable
- Confirm that the details of your request are correct on the confirmation screen, check the prompted box, then click Submit Request
From this point, the iLok support team will process your request, which may take up to two weeks to complete. If you have any questions, you can reach them here.
