If you're trying to activate an Antares license to your computer but don’t see it available in Auto-Tune Central, please see the info below for possible solutions.
1. Do you still need to register the plug-in to your Auto-Tune account?
If you've purchased a license from a dealer, you may need to register the plug-in to your Antares account manually by following the steps below:
- Open Auto-Tune Central
- Navigate to the "Redeem a License" tab
- Enter your registration code
- Select "Redeem and Activate"
2. Did you previously activate your Antares plug-in to two other locations (or two separate user profiles on one computer)?
Antares plug-ins authorized with Auto-Tune Central can be used on a maximum of two locations at once- either two separate computers, iLok dongles, or one of each.
If you activate the plug-in to two different user profiles or accounts on a single physical computer, this also counts as two activations.
To activate on a third computer or user account, you will need to deactivate from one of the others first.
To deactivate a license:
- Open Auto-Tune Central on the computer that you’re deactivating
- Navigate to the "Plug-Ins" tab
- Click the three dots next to your product and select "Deactivate"
3. Did you register your Antares plug-in to an Antares account with a different email address than the one you're currently logged into in Auto-Tune Central?
Make sure you've logged into Auto-Tune Central using the same email address used when purchasing and registering the plug-in.
The following is a list of other reasons why a license may 'disappear' from Auto-Tune Central:
1. An Auto-Tune Unlimited subscription license has 'disappeared' after billing has failed.
In this case, you may need to first update your billing details on our website under My Account > Manage > Update Payment Details, and then contact support for a license refresh.
2. A technical issue caused by a system change.
License activation issues (such as a license 'disappearing') may be caused by automatic system updates, antivirus software or other third-party software (such as firewalls and file cleaner applications), and may sometimes not be related to either user input or Auto-Tune Central.
Very Important: We advise users not to purchase additional subscriptions in case a license has 'disappeared'.
