Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused the following error message to appear during the Import Model process on Intel Mac devices and DAWs running in Rosetta Mode:
- "Cannot access this file. Check that it is not open in another application and you have permission to read it. [26]"
Known Issues
-
GarageBand (Version 10.4.12 and later)
- There is a bug affecting GarageBand users running the DAW in Rosetta or on an Intel Mac. Users may encounter a PACE related error message (Error 2002), and/or an “Audio Unit Can’t Be Used” error message upon plugin instantiation. Please see this support article for more information.
Metamorph (1.1.0)
The Metamorph 1.1.0 update is here, unlocking the full creative potential of the plug-in with a selection of exciting new features. This release focuses on improving your creative workflow and delivering more natural-sounding vocal transformations. Continue reading for a detailed look at all the new features and enhancements.
New Features
Model Import
With the new Model Import feature, users may import their own third-party vocal models (RVC version 2 .pth files) into the Metamorph plug-in. This unlocks the full creative potential of Metamorph, allowing users to create an infinite number of vocal transformations.
There are many resources available online to help you create your own vocal models and/or download existing ones. To learn more, visit our blog post on the topic here.
Drag and Drop Export
The Drag and Drop Export feature makes it easier to seamlessly integrate transformed audio into your project. After completing a vocal transformation, simply drag and drop the new audio waveform from the Metamorph plug-in window onto a track in your DAW, or even onto your computer desktop.
Range Matching
Range Matching is now available as a new enhancement to help users optimize transformation quality by ensuring their starting audio aligns with the selected model's vocal range. When toggled on, this setting will automatically adjust the pitch estimates of the input audio to match the target model's vocal range before transformation.
This helps achieve more natural-sounding transformations without manually adjusting pitch settings for different vocal ranges.
Known Issues
- There is a bug on Windows devices in FL Studio that prevents the spacebar from engaging DAW playback after clicking the Import Model button.
- A temporary workaround is to click on any of the windows owned by the DAW to bring it into focus.
- There is a graphical bug on MacOS Tahoe devices when resizing the plug-in window in Logic and GarageBand.

Key Features

18 Ethically-Sourced Vocal Models
Access a diverse library of professionally recorded vocal models created in partnership with real artists who are fairly compensated—spanning soprano, tenor, and baritone ranges with unique characteristics from smooth and sultry to powerful and edgy.
No Token System
Unlike many AI vocal tools, Metamorph operates without tokens, credits, or usage limits—transform as many vocals as you need.
Simple 3-Step Workflow
Record your vocal performance directly into the plugin, select a vocal model, and transform—no complex setup or external processing required.
Seamless DAW Integration
Works as a standard VST3, AU, or AAX plugin in all major DAWs including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, GarageBand, and more. See here for full details.
Known Issues
- High CPU loads (such as Tempo operations) during audio capture or processing may cause artifacts in the transformed audio.
- Artifacts may appear if your vocal track has large gaps of silence between clips. To avoid this issue, consolidate them into one contiguous region before recording into Metamorph.
- Logic Pro & GarageBand: Select your clips, then choose Edit > Join (Command-J)
- Pro Tools: Uncheck "Dynamic Plugin Processing" in Setup > Playback Engine to keep Metamorph active throughout the entire track.
- Pro Tools:
- There is currently a bug while using Pro Tools that causes transformed audio to not process correctly when transforming audio faster than real time (i.e using the “Commit up to this insert” feature).
- AudioSuite processing is not yet available for use with Metamorph.
