We're pleased to announce a major portfolio-wide update bringing enhanced compatibility and
stability improvements across our entire product line. This comprehensive update introduces
official support for macOS 26 Tahoe, implements critical stability enhancements to our licensing
system, and includes important plug-in naming updates for improved clarity in your DAW.
 

This update affects over 30 plugins across our AutoTune, Creative Effects, and Vocal Chain
product families, ensuring a seamless experience on the latest hardware and operating systems.

This maintenance release contains an update to the license copy protection method across all
Antares products. Please follow the instructions in Auto-Tune Central to update your plugin
license(s) from Wibu to PACE iLok licenses.

Smooth out harsh vocal sounds with the world’s easiest-to-use Vocal De-Esser plugin powered by AI. Vocal De-Esser has been trained on the unique characteristics of the human voice to control sibilant sounds without compromising the performance or tone of your vocal tracks.

Sibilance refers to various unpleasant "hiss" sounds that can be created by the human voice. Too much sibilance can ruin an otherwise perfect vocal recording but removing it can be near impossible without affecting the overall quality of your track. 

Vocal De-Esser intelligently and surgically removes these harsh vocal frequencies quickly and easily, giving you more time to focus on creativity.

Intelligent Assist

The Intelligent Assist Function is a simple 3 step process designed to help you quickly get
started with Vocal De-Esser.

During the Assist process, Vocal De-Esser will listen to 5 seconds of audio and suggest a
starting Threshold value based on the amount of detected sibilance.

AI Powered

We worked with professional vocalists to ensure the AI powering Vocal De-Esser truly
understands the nuances of the human singing voice. The result is a powerful yet simple-touse plugin that delivers exceptional sibilance control in real-time.

Individual Sibilance Reduction Controls

The Soft Sibilance and Hard Sibilance knobs allow you to adjust the maximum amount of
gain reduction applied to the respective sibilant sounds. Soft sibilants include sounds like ‘S,
Sh, Z, and Zh’, while hard sibilants include 'T, Ch, and K'.

Waveform Window

A visual workspace that displays a scrolling waveform of incoming audio, and highlights soft
sibilants (‘S, Sh, Z, and Zh’) in blue and hard sibilants ('T, Ch, and K') in orange. Real-time
gain reduction is applied to the audio, and is displayed as a red line above the waveform, and
in a dedicated Gain Reduction Meter.

The Threshold control also lives within the Waveform Window, which allows you to adjust the
gain level at which de-essing is triggered.

Known Issues

• A visual bug with the Gain Reduction line may appear in the Waveform Window when turning
  the Audition button on and off several times.
