These release notes outline important changes and updates in SoundSoap. This article will be updated regularly as we release new updates for SoundSoap.
SoundSoap (6.6.0)
We're pleased to announce a major portfolio-wide update bringing enhanced compatibility and stability improvements across our entire product line. This comprehensive update introduces official support for macOS 26 Tahoe, implements critical stability enhancements to our licensing system, and includes important plug-in naming updates for improved clarity in your DAW.
This update affects over 30 plugins across our AutoTune, Creative Effects, and Vocal Chain product families, ensuring a seamless experience on the latest hardware and operating systems.

Plug-in Name Change
The plug-in will now appear as "SoundSoap" in your DAW's plug-in browser.
- Previous Name: Auto-Tune SoundSoap
- New Name: SoundSoap
Important: Your existing sessions, presets, and settings will be preserved. Only the plug-in name in your DAW has changed.
Bug Fixes
- Enhanced license stability improvements.
- Updated PACE Eden SDK for improved session recall reliability.
Compatibility
- MacOS 26 Tahoe is now officially compatible.
Known Issues

GarageBand (Version 10.4.12 and later)
- There is a bug affecting GarageBand users running the DAW in Rosetta or on an Intel Mac. Users may encounter a PACE related error message (Error 2002), and/or an “Audio Unit Can’t Be Used” error message upon plugin instantiation. Please see this support article for more information.
Auto-Tune SoundSoap (6.5.0)
This maintenance release contains an update to the license copy protection method across all Antares products. Please follow the instructions in Auto-Tune Central to update your plug-in license(s) from Wibu to iLok licenses.
Additionally, the following bug fix has been implemented:

- Fixed a bug on PC that caused the DAW to crash upon plug-in scan.
Auto-Tune SoundSoap (6.1.1)
This maintenance release addresses stability issues across all Antares plug-ins on Intel and M1 Macs, and resolves common crash occurrences, including two major Pro Tools-specific issues:
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that causes a crash when multi-instantiating plug-ins across tracks
- Fixed a bug that causes a crash upon session closure or re-opening of existing sessions
Auto-Tune SoundSoap (6.0)
New Features
Auto-Tune SoundSoap includes all the same features you know and love from SoundSoap 5, but contains some new parameters to assist with repairing your projects. The initial 6.0 release includes the following changes, updates, and additional features:
De-Esser
A dedicated de-esser is included in Auto-Tune SoundSoap to help reduce the presence of sibilance in your vocal recordings and performances.
Updated GUI
The SoundSoap user interface has been beautifully redesigned to bring it to the modern age. For the first time, the Auto-Tune SoundSoap GUI features Light and Dark Mode variations to suit your preference.
We've also built in HiDPI Support to make Auto-Tune SoundSoap 4K graphic compatible.

Tooltips will help you get the most out of Auto-Tune SoundSoap. Hover your mouse over any parameter in Auto-Tune to see a short description of what it does. Open the Preferences menu (Gear Icon), to Enable/Disable tooltips.
Notifications in Plug-In
Auto-Tune SoundSoap will let you know about upcoming product news with a notification badge, displayed within the plug-in itself.
If you see a red notification badge displayed by the Antares logo in your plug-in, click on it to check it out.
