Auto-Key 2.0
Auto-Key 2.0 includes all the same features and workflows found in Auto-Key, but contains some new features and a redesigned GUI to enhance your workflow.
The initial 2.0 release includes the following changes, updates, and new features:
New Features
Tempo Detection
In addition to automatic key and scale detection, Auto-Key 2 now features automatic tempo detection! After analyzing your audio, the tempo will be displayed alongside the key and scale information in the redesigned Central Display.
Key Change Automation
This highly requested feature is now available in Auto-Key 2! If your song contains a key change, you can use automation with Auto-Key 2 to seamlessly send the new key and scale information to all compatible instances of Auto-Tune in your project.
Please see this article for a step-by-step walkthrough of the automation process.
Educational Tools
The Keyboard in Auto-Key 2 has some new features to help you learn some basic music theory. After detecting the key and scale of your audio, the keyboard will highlight and label the individual keys contained in that scale, with the root note marked in bold. You can click on any key on the keyboard to play a sample of that note in real time.
Updated GUI
The Auto-Key 2 user interface has been beautifully redesigned to bring it to the modern age. The 3 detection methods found in Auto-Key 2 have been brought to the forefront of the GUI, and are laid out neatly into their own individual columns.
Auto-Key 2 also features Light and Dark Mode variations to suit your preference.
