Q: What is Auto-Key 2?
A: Auto-Key 2 is an automatic key, scale, and tempo detection plug-in, designed to enhance your Auto-Tune workflow and save valuable time in the studio. 

After automatically detecting the key, scale, and tempo of your music, Auto-Key will send that information to one or more compatible instances of Auto-Tune.

Q: How do I get Auto-Key 2?
A: Auto-Key 2 is FREE for Auto-Tune Unlimited subscribers! If you haven't subscribed yet, visit our website here to purchase a subscription or start a free 14-day trial. 

Q: Which versions of Auto-Tune are compatible with Auto-Key 2?

Q: Can I purchase a perpetual license for Auto-Key 2?
A:  Yes! Perpetual licenses are available for purchase here.

Q: Can I upgrade to Auto-Key 2?
A:  Yes! Please log into your Antares account and visit the 'My Account' page to view your available upgrades. 

 

Installation and Activation

Q: Where can I download Auto-Key 2?

A: Please visit our Auto-Tune Central application to download and install the latest version of Auto-Key 2. 

Q: How do I activate my license? 

A: After purchasing a perpetual license or a subscription to Auto-Tune Unlimited, the license will be automatically registered to the email used at checkout. Please follow the steps here to activate your license with Auto-Tune Central. 

Q: Can I use my license on more than one computer? 

A: We allow up to two simultaneous activations of one license at any given time. To do this, please follow the steps here on each device you’d like to use the license on. 

Q: Do I need to connect to the internet to activate my license?

A: Yes, your computer will need to be connected to the internet when you initially activate the license, and on your subscription renewal date. Once your license is activated, you don’t need to stay online to use the plug-ins in your DAW.
