Q: What is dual-stage compression? 
A: The value of dual-stage compression or using two compressors in “series” is that the first compressor controls the dynamic range of the vocal while the second compressor controls transient peaks that may get past the first compressor. This stacked approach gives you full control of a vocal track's dynamics and quickly places it nicely in a mix.

Installation and Activation

Q: Where can I download Auto-Tune Vocal Compressor?

A: Auto-Tune Vocal Compressor is available from our Auto-Tune Central application. 

Q: How do I activate my license? 

A: After purchasing a perpetual license or a subscription to Auto-Tune Unlimited, the license will be automatically registered to the email used at checkout. Please follow the steps here to activate your license with Auto-Tune Central. 

Q: Can I use my license on more than one computer? 

A: We allow up to two simultaneous activations of one license at any given time. To do this, please follow the steps here on each device you’d like to use the license on. 

Q: Do I need to connect to the internet to activate my license?

A: Yes, your computer will need to be connected to the internet when you initially activate the license, and on your subscription renewal date. Once your license is activated, you don’t need to stay online to use the plug-ins in your DAW.
