General Questions

Q: What is AutoKey 2?

A: AutoKey 2 is an automatic key, scale, and tempo detection plug-in, designed to enhance your AutoTune workflow and save valuable time in the studio. 

After automatically detecting the key, scale, and tempo of your music, AutoKey will send that information to one or more compatible instances of AutoTune.

Q: How do I get AutoKey 2?

A: AutoKey 2 is available to AutoTune Unlimited subscribers at no additional charge. If you haven't subscribed yet, visit our website here to purchase a subscription or start a free 14-day trial. 

If you prefer a perpetual license, it is also available for purchase individually here. 

Q: Which versions of AutoTune are compatible with AutoKey 2?

Q: Can I purchase a perpetual license for AutoKey 2?

A:  Yes! Perpetual licenses are available for purchase here. 

Q: Can I upgrade to AutoKey 2?

A:  Yes! Please log into your Antares account and visit the 'My Account' page to view your available upgrades. 
 

Installation and Activation

Q: Where can I download AutoKey 2?

A: Please visit our Auto-Tune Central application to download and install the latest version of AutoKey 2. 

Q: How do I activate my license? 

A: After purchasing a perpetual license or a subscription to AutoTune Unlimited, the license will be automatically registered to the email used at checkout. Please follow the steps here to activate your license with Auto-Tune Central. 

Q: Can I use my license on more than one computer? 

A: We allow up to two simultaneous activations of one license at any given time. To do this, please follow the steps here on each device you’d like to use the license on. 

Q: Do I need to connect to the internet to activate my license?

A: Yes, your computer will need to be connected to the internet when you initially activate the license, and on your subscription renewal date. Once your license is activated, you don’t need to stay online to use the plug-ins in your DAW.
