Q: What is Auto-Tune® Pro X? 

A: Redesigned and reimagined to meet tomorrow’s vocal production demands, Auto-Tune Pro X is the modern edition of our flagship vocal tuning software. Auto-Tune Pro X picks up where the original (and celebrated) Auto-Tune Pro left off, and is packed with new features and dozens of new workflow improvements and enhancements.

Auto-Tune Pro X marks a major leap forward in the speed and ease-of-use of one of most influential audio production tools ever made.

Q: How do I get Auto-Tune Pro X?

A: Auto-Tune Pro X is available at no additional charge to new and existing Auto-Tune Unlimited subscribers, but perpetual licenses are also available for purchase. Owners of Auto-Tune Pro version 9 may be eligible for a free* upgrade to Auto-Tune Pro X! 

*Customers who purchased Auto-Tune Pro 9 on or after June 21st, 2022 are eligible for a free upgrade to Auto-Tune Pro X. 

Existing Auto-Tune Unlimited subscribers should download the latest installer from Auto-Tune Central to get started with Auto-Tune Pro X.

Q: Is Auto-Tune Pro X backwards compatible?  
A: Yes, we've maintained the same backwards compatibility present in Auto-Tune Pro (version 9). Auto-Tune Pro X can load previously saved settings from Auto-Tune Pro 9.0.x and 8.1.x, but not earlier versions of Auto-Tune.

Q: What is ARA2 Support?
A: Audio Random Access (ARA) increases the amount of communication possible between a DAW and a plug-in, allowing them to exchange more information, such as audio data, tempo, pitch, and rhythm, for an entire song, rather than just at the moment of playback.

The increased amount of information exchange removes the need for audio material to be transferred to and from the plug-in. What this means for you is that ARA allows a plug-in to be used as a more closely integrated part of the DAW's overall interface.


Q: How do I upgrade to Auto-Tune Pro X? 

A: If you have a legacy version of Auto-Tune Pro (such as Auto-Tune 7 or Auto-Tune 8), you can purchase an upgrade to Auto-Tune Pro X from the My Account page after logging into your Antares account. 

Existing Auto-Tune Pro 9 owners may be eligible for a free* upgrade to Auto-Tune Pro X.

*Customers who purchased Auto-Tune Pro 9 on or after June 21st, 2022 are eligible for a free upgrade to Auto-Tune Pro X.

Installation and Activation

Q: Where can I download Auto-Tune Pro X? 

A: Auto-Tune Pro X is available from our Auto-Tune Central application. 

Q: How do I install Auto-Tune Pro X? 

A: To use Auto-Tune Pro X in your DAW, please run the latest Auto-Tune Pro installer by following the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Auto-Tune Central "Plug-Ins" tab

2. Locate your plugin and select "Install". When the download is complete, extract the files 

3. Double click on the installer application

4. Follow the prompts until you see Installation Complete

Q: How do I activate my license? 

A: After purchasing a perpetual license or a subscription to Auto-Tune Unlimited, the license will be automatically registered to the email used at checkout. Please follow the steps here to activate your license with Auto-Tune Central. 

Q: How do I access Auto-Tune Pro X as an Auto-Tune Unlimited subscriber?

A: Please download and run the latest Auto-Tune Unlimited installer to gain access to Auto-Tune Pro X. You can download it from the Auto-Tune Central application. 


Q: Can I use my license on more than one computer? 

A: Yes, you may have up to two simultaneous activations of one license at any given time. To do this, please follow the steps here on each device you’d like to use the license on. 

Q: Do I need to connect to the internet to activate my license?

A: Yes, your computer will need to be connected to the internet when you initially activate the license, and on your subscription renewal date. Once your license is activated, you don’t need to stay online to use the plug-ins in your DAW. 

Q: I just purchased a license, but I didn’t receive my registration code! What should I do? 

A: If you don’t get an email confirmation with your registration code, please double check any alternative email addresses that could have been used at checkout. When products are purchased on our site, they get automatically registered to the Antares account entered upon checkout. If you still can’t find your email confirmation or registration code, contact our support team here. 

Q: Will my Auto-Tune Unlimited subscription be renewed automatically?

A: Yes, our monthly and annual subscription plans will be renewed automatically. If a 14-day trial is not cancelled before the end of the trial period, your license will automatically rollover to a monthly subscription. You will be charged $24.99 for your first month’s subscription.
