Q: Do I need an iLok?

Installation and Activation
Q: Where do I download Auto-Tune Slice?
A: Auto-Tune Slice is available to download from our Auto-Tune Central application.
Q: How do I install Auto-Tune Slice?
A: To install Auto-Tune Slice, please follow these steps:
Navigate to the Auto-Tune Central "Plug-Ins" tab.
Locate Auto-Tune Unlimited in your product list, and scroll through the plug-ins. Click the "Install" button next to Auto-Tune Slice.

Q: How do I activate my license?
A: After purchasing a subscription to Auto-Tune Unlimited, the license will be automatically registered to the email used at checkout. Since Auto-Tune Slice is a part of the Auto-Tune Unlimited license, you'll need to activate the Auto-Tune Unlimited license to use Auto-Tune Slice.

Q: Can I use my license on more than one computer?
A: We allow up to two simultaneous activations of one license at any given time. To do this, please follow the steps here on each device you’d like to use the license on.
Q: Do I need to connect to the internet to activate my license?
A: Yes, your computer will need to be connected to the internet when you initially activate the license, and on your subscription renewal date. Once your license is activated, you don’t need to stay online to use the plug-ins in your DAW.
Q: I just purchased an Auto-Tune Unlimited subscription, but I didn’t receive my registration code. What should I do?
A: If you don’t get an email confirmation with your registration code, please double-check any alternative email addresses that could have been used at checkout. When products are purchased on our site, they get automatically registered to the Antares account entered upon checkout. If you still can’t find your email confirmation or registration code, contact our support team here.
Troubleshooting
A: Listed below are some best practices to achieve optimal performance in Auto-Tune Slice:
- In Edit Mode, enable the "Varispeed" button. This will disable the Elastique™ algorithm for time compression and expansion.
- In the Preferences menu, turn off OpenGL Graphics.
- In your DAW's settings, set your buffer size to 512 or higher.
