Q: What is Auto-Tune® Vocodist? 

A: Auto-Tune Vocodist is the world's first vocoder plug-in with built in Auto-Tune. With an expansive collection of vocoder models, custom artist presets, and a robust set of vocal effects, Auto-Tune Vocodist allows artists to explore new frontiers of vocal expression.

Q: How do I get Auto-Tune Vocodist?

A: Auto-Tune Vocodist is available exclusively for Auto-Tune Unlimited subscribers. To purchase a subscription or start a free trial, please visit our website here. 

Q: Do I need an iLok?

A: As of November 1st, 2024, we have added the option to activate your Antares licenses onto a physical iLok dongle. Please see our iLok FAQ for more information.   

  

Installation and Activation

Q: Where do I download Auto-Tune Vocodist? 

A: Auto-Tune Vocodist is included in an Auto-Tune Unlimited license. It is available from our Auto-Tune Central application. 

Q: How do I install Auto-Tune Slice? 

A: To install Auto-Tune Slice, please follow these steps: 

1. Navigate to the Auto-Tune Central "Plug-Ins" tab.

2. Locate Auto-Tune Unlimited in your product list, and scroll through the plug-ins. Click the "Install" button next to Auto-Tune Slice.

Q: How do I activate my license? 

A: After purchasing a subscription to Auto-Tune Unlimited, the license will be automatically registered to the email used at checkout. Since Auto-Tune Vocodist is a part of the Auto-Tune Unlimited license, you'll need to activate the Auto-Tune Unlimited license to use Auto-Tune Vocodist.

Please follow the steps here to activate the license using Auto-Tune Central. 

Q: Can I use my license on more than one computer? 

A: We allow up to two simultaneous activations of one Auto-Tune Unlimited license at any given time. To do this, please follow the steps here on each device you’d like to use the license on. 

Q: Do I need to connect to the internet to activate my license?

A: Yes, your computer will need to be connected to the internet when you initially activate the license, and on your subscription renewal date. Once your license is activated, you don’t need to stay online to use the plug-ins in your DAW. 

Billing

Q: I just purchased an Auto-Tune Unlimited subscription, but I didn’t receive my registration code. What should I do? 

A: If you don’t get an email confirmation with your registration code, please double-check any alternative email addresses that could have been used at checkout. When products are purchased on our site, they get automatically registered to the Antares account entered upon checkout. If you still can’t find your email confirmation or registration code, contact our support team here. 

Q: Will my subscription be renewed automatically?

A: Yes, our monthly and annual subscription plans will be renewed automatically. If a 14-day trial is not canceled before the end of the trial period, your license will automatically roll over to a monthly subscription. You will be charged $24.99 for your first month’s subscription.
