Q: What is Auto-Tune Unlimited?
A: Auto-Tune Unlimited is a subscription service that grants access to every current version of Auto-Tune, our entire suite of Vocal Effects, and Auto-Key. Subscribers will receive free upgrades, access to new plug-ins as they’re released, and exclusive educational content.
Q: Do I need an iLok?
A: As of November 1st, 2024, we have added the option to activate your Antares licenses onto a physical iLok dongle. Please see our iLok FAQ for more information.
Q: Can I still purchase a perpetual license?
A: If you decide that a subscription to Auto-Tune Unlimited isn’t for you, you can still purchase individual perpetual licenses here.
Q: Are any legacy plug-ins (Auto-Tune EFX 3, Auto-Tune Live, Auto-Tune 8, etc.) included in the subscription?
A: Auto-Tune Unlimited doesn’t include any legacy plug-ins, but some of the current versions of Auto-Tune are backwards compatible. Please consult the support section of our website for more information.
Q: Does Auto-Tune Unlimited include the Auto-Tune versions from Universal Audio, Antelope Audio, or Reason Studios?
A: Auto-Tune Unlimited does not include any of the versions sold by Universal Audio, Antelope Audio, or Reason Studios.
Installation and Activation
Q: Where do I download Auto-Tune Unlimited?
A: Auto-Tune Unlimited is available to download from our Auto-Tune Central application.
Q: How do I install Auto-Tune Unlimited?
A: To install Auto-Tune Unlimited, please follow these steps:
Navigate to the Auto-Tune Central "Plug-Ins" tab.
Locate Auto-Tune Unlimited in your product list, and click "Install All".

Q: How do I activate my license?
A: After purchasing a subscription to Auto-Tune Unlimited, the license will be automatically registered to the email used at checkout. Please follow the steps here to activate the license using Auto-Tune Central.
Q: Can I use my license on more than one computer?
A: We allow up to two simultaneous activations of one Auto-Tune Unlimited license at any given time. To do this, please follow the steps here on each device you’d like to use the license on.
Q: Do I need to connect to the internet to activate my license?
A: Yes, your computer will need to be connected to the internet when you initially activate the license, and on your subscription renewal date. Once your license is activated, you don’t need to stay online to use the plug-ins in your DAW.
Q: I just purchased an Auto-Tune Unlimited subscription, but I didn’t receive my registration code. What should I do?
A: If you don’t get an email confirmation with your registration code, please double-check any alternative email addresses that could have been used at checkout. When products are purchased on our site, they get automatically registered to the Antares account entered upon checkout. If you still can’t find your email confirmation or registration code, contact our support team here.
Billing Policies
Q: What’s the difference between the monthly and the annual plan?
A: The cost of a monthly subscription is $30/month. The annual subscription costs $300/year upfront, and auto-renews 1 year from the day of purchase. Both plans offer the same plug-ins, educational content, free upgrades, and access to select new plug-ins as they’re released for as long as you subscribe.
Q: Will I be notified when my subscription is almost over?
A: Yes, you will receive notifications via email and through Auto-Tune Central when your subscription is about to be canceled. If there’s an issue with your payment method, you’ll have a 15-day grace period to update your information once you reach the end of your subscription.
Q: Why was I charged for the free trial?
A: After going through checkout for a free 14-day trial, there will be a temporary hold for $1.00 on your card. This is a payment mechanism that our order processors use to check if a card is valid and can complete transactions.
Canceling Your Subscription
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: To cancel your subscription, please follow the steps below. Please note, you do not need to contact support to cancel your subscription.
- Log into your Antares account
- Once you're logged in, click on the Subscriptions tab
- Click the "View Details" button next to the subscription you'd like to cancel
- Click the red "Cancel Subscription" button
Q: Will my subscription be renewed automatically?
A: Yes, our monthly and annual subscription plans will be renewed automatically. If a 14-day trial is not canceled before the end of the trial period, your license will automatically roll over to a monthly subscription. You will be charged $30 for your first month’s subscription.
